Funeral options
Cremation & urn burial
Following cremation, the ashes are laid to rest in an urn. We explain the farewell options and different resting places.

Planning the farewell and burial together.
Cremation and urn burial describe two connected steps: cremation at the crematorium, followed by burial of the urn.
Depending on the cemetery, urn graves, columbaria and other grave types are available. An urn can also be buried in a permitted burial woodland or at sea.
We offer a variety of urns and advise you on materials and design. The chosen resting place may have specific requirements.
Your wishes guide the way.
Music, photographs and personal memories can accompany the farewell ceremony. We also discuss the option of a farewell at the crematorium and coordinate it with the facility. Personal items placed with the deceased and medical considerations are professionally clarified in the particular case.
Your questions
Good to know.
Can the funeral ceremony take place before cremation?
A personal farewell beside the coffin can be discussed. Alternatively, a ceremony with the urn is possible before or during the burial. We coordinate the process with the facilities involved.
Where can the urn be buried?
Depending on local requirements, in a cemetery, a permitted burial woodland or as part of a sea burial. We clarify other wishes individually.
Can I choose an individual urn?
Yes. We advise you on models and design. Certain burial locations have specific requirements for the material.
