When web pages are requested, technical data necessary to deliver them is processed. This includes in particular the IP address and information about the requested page, browser and time of the request. The purpose is to provide and securely operate the website. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a functioning and secure online presence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact by email or telephone
When you contact us, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry. Please send only information necessary for your request. Depending on the enquiry, processing takes place to perform pre-contractual measures or a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or on the basis of the legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the particular purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. The precise processing involved when you engage us to arrange a funeral is explained separately.
Storing your privacy selection
After your decision, we store under anzalone-consent-v1 only your selection, the time of the decision and a version number in your browser's local storage. The selection is valid for 180 days; we then ask again. Storage serves only to respect your decision and is necessary for this function chosen by you under Section 25(2), No. 2 TDDDG. Processing takes place under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to manage and respect your privacy selection. If browser storage is blocked, the selection applies only to the currently open page.
Cookies and integrated services
This version of the website itself uses no analytics or marketing cookies and integrates no corresponding services. Images, the logo and typography are provided without external font or image services. This version does not include a contact form, newsletter or user registration.
Google Maps in Lebach and Eppelborn
Each of the Lebach and Eppelborn location pages embeds an interactive Google map. The maps load only when you expressly allow Google Maps in the cookie settings. Without consent, no map content is retrieved from Google. The legal basis for optional processing is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where your device is accessed, Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time using ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer; the embedded maps are then removed. The lawfulness of previous processing remains unaffected. In particular, your IP address and technical browser and connection data are transmitted to Google. Depending on your settings, Google may use cookies or similar technologies and process data outside the European Union.

The memorial portal is accessible through a clearly identified external link. You switch to that service only when you open the link. The respective privacy policies apply to processing on external services.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it with effect for the future. For processing based on legitimate interests, you may object under the conditions of Article 21 GDPR.
